A BioBottle carrying the BioBottles and BioCaps badge: No Microplastics, Please Recycle
Switch to BioBottles

We need you to ask your supplement brand for a better bottle.

BioBottles break down safely and leave behind no microplastics — unlike the bottle your supplements come in now. Your brand just has to be asked — and it cannot come from us. Name them below; about a minute.

This goes on the message. A brand acts on a request from a named customer far sooner than an anonymous one.

Published as your first name and last initial only — for example, “Maria G.”

Why it has to come from you

We are the packaging company. When we ask a supplement brand to change their bottle, it is a sales call, and they treat it like one. When their own paying customer asks, it is a business decision.

That is the entire reason this page exists. We cannot make this switch happen. You can.

What happens after you sign

  1. We write the message for you, in your name, addressed to the brand you named.
  2. We hold every message for that brand and deliver them together, as a group of their customers rather than one email.
  3. We publish the ask, so their answer is public too.

What is actually wrong with the bottle

It is ordinary plastic. Almost none of it is ever recycled — roughly 9% of all plastic ever made has been — and the rest spends four to five hundred years breaking into microplastic fragments, the kind now being found in tap water, sea salt, and human blood and arteries. Sorting your bins more carefully cannot fix a material problem. The material has to be different.

Who is asking

Switch to BioBottles is run by GreenFrog Packaging®, which supplies BioBottles®. We say that plainly because you should know who is asking, and because it is exactly why we need you. Substantiation lives at gogreenfrog.com/claims.
